On Sunday evening, E.D. was on duty at the medical guard when around 11:40 pm she received a call from a man complaining of respiratory problems. She got injured in the escape.<\/p>\n
The doctor went to the man’s house accompanied by her mother, as all female doctors on duty in Calabria are accompanied by parents, husbands, or boyfriends. E.D. ‘s intuition told her that the man, who did not appear to be suffering, might be a threat.<\/p>\n
