F2i is accelerating the creation of an energy hub built around Sorgenia and EF Solare. The infrastructure fund has started preparatory work to merge the two subsidiaries into a group that could be worth over 2 billion euros.<\/p>\n
According to reports, the advisors of Lazard and Mediobanca are working on the operation. The new partner could not only replace the Spanish fund Asterion, which is a 27.6% partner of Sorgenia, but also have a larger stake in the new entity.<\/p>\n
Asterion had entered Sorgenia alongside F2i in October 2020, in an operation that had valued the group at around a billion euros. The combination would create one of the major players in the European energy sector, which, thanks to the contribution of new investors, could multiply its renewable energy development projects.<\/p>\n

Asterion hab\u00eda ingresado a Sorgenia junto a F2i en octubre de 2020, en una operaci\u00f3n que hab\u00eda valorado al grupo en alrededor de mil millones de euros.<\/p>\n
La combinaci\u00f3n crear\u00eda uno de los principales actores en el sector energ\u00e9tico europeo, que, gracias a la contribuci\u00f3n de nuevos inversores, podr\u00eda multiplicar sus proyectos de desarrollo de energ\u00eda renovable.
