However, this event has brought to the forefront the quality issues of the planes built by the American giant. &#8220;An event like this should not happen on a plane leaving our factory.&#8221; &#8220;The current system of checks is not working,&#8221; admitted Faa head Mike Whitaker in a parliamentary hearing.<\/p>\n<p>The FAA is currently conducting an inspection on the 737 Max production line, including checks in the facilities of supplier Spirit AeroSystems.
