Vannacci, in the new book the anti-environmentalist crusade: “Electric cars at risk of fire” – Corriere.it

The ideological environmentalism is a pseudo religion that has negative effects on nature itself. The high-ranking officer, who is increasingly close to the ideas of the European right and the candidacy with the League for the upcoming European elections, is convinced that the ecological transition is not only unrealistic today, but would actually create more pollution. The ecological transition? Roberto Vannacci

“International scientific studies,” explains the general, “show that for every 100 kilowatt-hours of green energy, another 100 kilowatt-hours of fossil energy are needed.

And that’s why it is the oil companies who finance the so-called clean energy. They have realized that the ecological transition will increase production from fossil and nuclear sources.” With the added factor, according to Vannacci’s theory, that “green energy today is not renewable at all because solar and wind energy sources are polluting.” The general is convinced that in the next twenty years we will not be able to meet the energy demand with green quotas.

He says he is not against the ecological transition, but imagines an energy present where solar and wind energy will have to be combined with nuclear and fossil sources. And what about the ban on producing thermal cars in Europe by 2035? Electric cars are expensive, state bonuses are taxpayers’ money. Producing batteries is a highly polluting process, and their disposal is even more so.”

There is also a sarcastic remark, in Matteo Salvini’s style, about the safety of electric cars: “They are at risk of catching fire.” It is dedicated to subscribers of the Corriere della Sera and arrives twice a week at 12 noon. *Corriere della Sera is also on Whatsapp. Just click here to join the channel and stay updated.
