The Minister for Enterprises, Adolfo Urso, says: “Today marks the start of a new initiative aimed at supporting families, countering inflation, and encouraging consumption.” Participating restaurants, bars, and gelaterias will offer a dedicated menu for children up to 10 years old for just 10 euros, or provide discounts during the week. The memorandum of understanding, which governs the operational procedures through which the associations in the restaurant and agriculture sectors contribute to the implementation of the project, has been signed by Fipe, Aigrim, Slow Food, Cna Nazionale, Confartigianato, Confcooperative-Fedagripesca, Agci, Legacoop Agroalimentare, Alleanza delle Cooperative, Coldiretti, Confagricoltura, Copagri, Cia-Agricoltori Italiani, and Forum delle Associazioni Familiari. The Mimit website also states that “Participants will inform users about the discounts and the ways in which the initiative is implemented, according to their own organizational methods, including the option to publish the offer on their website and/or app.”
