On that Saturday afternoon, at 6:20 pm, residents alerted the municipal police that someone was shooting in the downtown area, near a mechanic shop. The National Defense Secretariat (SEDENA) and the State Investigation Agency (AEI) cordoned off the area to preserve the crime scene.
The man was left by the killers lying face down, with his head under a chair. Pamela’s mother, Cristina Vianello, and her brother Manuel Codardini were informed of the double homicide on January 28th by the consular office of the Italian embassy in Mexico City.

La madre de Pamela, Cristina Vianello, y su hermano Manuel Codardini fueron informados del doble homicidio el 28 de enero por la oficina consular de la embajada italiana en la Ciudad de México.
