The house is built in a day with Italian company’s 3D cement: the cutting-edge project

Building fast, well, and at a low cost. A 3D printer is all that’s needed to create an efficient, comfortable, safe, and healthy cement house in just one day. It looks no different from a traditional structure and is also designed to withstand extreme events like hurricanes and tornadoes.

These technologies represent a leap in quality for the industry and provide greater customization possibilities. Among these, the Italian mortar Planitop 3D is used for the outer shell. Additionally, Mapei’s Elastocolor coating on the exterior improves resistance to weathering and allows for personalized finishing.

Furthermore, in terms of resource reduction, the integration of additional cementitious materials that lighten the mix has further reduced the amount of cement used. The result is an on-site construction that minimizes emissions from logistical movements, with high-precision operations. Inside, the builder used wooden structures to create the partitioning of spaces and to create three bedrooms, a living area, and two bathrooms.

This increases the scalability of the project and allows it to be exported elsewhere, making lightweight and quality living increasingly democratic.
