6,500 permanent hires are expected in ministries and major public entities by 2024. The job postings are in the preparation phase, following a decree from the Presidency of the Council, published in the Official Gazette, giving the green light. The first job postings will be ready by March. New wave of hirings in ministries.
A decree from the Presidency of the Council has approved a new package of hirings: 6,500 positions have been announced. Half of them will be assigned through a competition. The rest will be filled through the use of merit lists. The majority of the new vacancies for managers and officials are related to the Ministry of Justice under Carlo Nordio, where more than a third of the new vacancies are concentrated.
