Let’s rewind the tape. The company founded by Rupert Murdoch has long since abandoned its core business, namely pay TV services.

Sky has ventured into new businesses, including creating its own Wi-Fi service and producing a line of branded televisions. Enter the Sky Glass.

On the portal, you immediately see the slogan “More than just a TV” and the purchase options: “Sky Glass 43” for €11.90 per month for 48 months. €79 upfront.”

However, in Bari, a resident looking to make a purchase would find only two options provided by the embarrassed operator: pay in full or installment payments through an external financial company. No installment payments with Sky.

The company has decided to bar the area due to too many insolvent customers, making it impossible to purchase the Sky Glass in small installments. This situation has sparked discussions on social media.
